Inflix Engineering has completed a reinforced concrete box culvert at Malinyi in Morogoro Region for TARURA.
The structure was built to mitigate seasonal flooding along the route and to secure access through the wet season, when the crossing had previously become impassable.
Scope of works
- Excavation and preparation of the founding level
- Timber formwork and steel reinforcement to drawing
- Concrete placement and curing
- Backfill, compaction and reinstatement of the approaches
The works were delivered in full compliance with TARURA standards. Drainage and flood-control structures of this type are a core part of our civil engineering work across Morogoro, Mbeya and Kagera.
